Current Programs in Haiti 

AME-SADA, for the last several years, has provided training for over 1000 primary school teachers from 18 schools. In addition, the project worked with the local schools directors, teachers and parents to improve the learning environment of its 18 target schools and provided pedagogical material and supplies. The passing rate on the national exam for elementary school students went from 46% to 78% in two years as a result of project____. Although the USAID-financed project ended in 2002, AME-SADA has continued the project through private funding.
